Grewal brings over 30 years of leadership experience across the in vitro diagnostics, Clinical Diagnostics, and medical technology sectors, further strengthening the company’s strategic direction and commitment to high-quality clinical diagnostic services.
Bringing Deep Expertise and Vision
Grewal is an experienced strategic and operational executive, recognised for his track record in building and transforming high-growth organisations. Most recently, he led Cambridge Nutritional Sciences plc, where he guided the business through a successful innovation and commercialisation within the global health technology sector. In addition, he is currently a director and Treasurer of the British In Vitro Diagnostics Association (BIVDA).
Throughout his career, Grewal has held senior leadership and board positions, delivering sustained business performance and strategic transformation. His expertise spans business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, fundraising, R&D programme management, operations, and regulatory affairs.
He has managed international portfolios valued at up to £1 billion, and established extensive networks across key global markets, including the UK, the United States, China, and India. His leadership is defined by a strong focus on commercial excellence, organisational performance, and the integration of technology to improve healthcare outcomes.

In his role as Chairman, Grewal will provide strategic oversight, governance, and commercial guidance as Alderley Lighthouse Labs continues to expand its scientific capabilities and partnerships.
